body prep
To ensure a successful paint job it is best to start with a fresh base. In order
to accomplish this it is best to strip all original coatings from the sheet
metal. As seen in the photographs below the chemical stripping process is
underway.
    This car came from California, due to the absence of salt on
California’s roads the car is 100% solid. No metal work needed to be
performed because there was absolutely no rust.

A generous coating of epoxy primer is now complete. Once dry, body work
will commence.
Shown in the photographs below is a bare metal body of a lancia. The metal
has been finished and prepared to accept a coating of epoxy primer.
